Antique Ashworth Bros. Chinoiserie Dinner Plate #1

Beautiful antique dinner plate by Ashworth Bros. Circa 1862. Note the extraordinary vibrant colors of the birds as well as the flowers and fabulous rim. 

Ashworth Bros. was a company based in Hanley, England that produced ceramics from 1862 -1968. Ashworth Bros was founded in 1848 and was known for its high-quality, hand-crafted ceramics. The firm succeeded Morley & Ashworth (1858-60) which had acquired the rights to the Mason patent for ironstone china.

MEASUREMENTS: 10” Dia.

CONDITION: Excellent antique condition. There are no chips, cracks or repairs. Some wear due to age.
